What core value or principle has guided day one solutions growth and development?
The core principle is that the data belongs with the asset.
None of the other platforms out there, whether it’s on the construction side or on the operation side, does the data actually belong to the asset.
In fact, most new construction buildings that utilize the CPM or construction project management software, the data does not live on with the platform are with the building itself.
So at the end of the construction, that data just goes away and your operations and facilities teams is left with having to populate whatever new platform they’re using for operations with some of the same data that was just collected during the construction site.
So our general philosophy is not only that the data belongs to the building or the data belongs to the asset, but also that if you utilize the same platform from Groundbreak all the way through construction into day one when you’re building open and then all the way into operations and maintenance through the life cycle of that building, you’ve got increased efficiencies and lower costs.
